Saslove Aviv, Marriage 2004
Bronze medal in the International Wine and Spirit Competition 2005, 2003 vintage
Saslove Aviv Marriage is made of three varieties of grapes: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz . The Merlot adds a subdued quality to the wine, as well as depth and maturity, and is responsible for its long-enduring taste. The Cabernet Sauvignon adds intensity, like having a muscle showcase in one's mouth. Shiraz spices up this duo with peppered seasoning. This unique combination creates a powerful wine with the wild fruit fragrances of raspberry and blueberry. The wine's 6-month aging in contact with American and French oak enriches it with touches of vanilla, mocha, cinnamon, clove and chocolate.
